Pork Belly Strips with Asian BBQ sauce
Here are some really tasty Pork Belly Strips with a sweet tangy sauce. Absolutely gorgeous and great for a starter or snack. 2 Servings, or 6 depending on how you eat them
Ingredients for Pork Belly Strips
Pack of Pork Belly Strips
1 Onion
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Creole Seasoning.
Method.
Cut Onion in large slices and drizzle the Oil into a roasting pan. Put the ribs in and cover them in the oil. Then season with Salt and Pepper and sprinkle on the Creole Seasoning. Now lay the onion slices around the edges and place into a pre-heated oven at 200C for 35 mins and then prepare the sauce.
Ingredients for BBQ Sauce
1 large Tbsp of Tomato Puree
5 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp of Sherry vinegar
1 Tsp of Ginger Puree
1 Tsp of Garlic Puree
3 Tbsp of Honey
Method
Mix all these ingredients together in a bowl and when the strips have done their first 35 mins, take out the roasting dish and turn the ribs over. Cover the ribs with the sauce and place back in the oven for another 35 mins.
